    Should do this 1 cheer

If you’ve ever been to Pandora, you put in an artist and music starts streaming to you, one song at a time based on the artist. With each song, you rate the song thumbs up or thumbs down and the stations get smarter and smarter.

YouTube and Google should open “The Video Genome Project”

Basically, the idea is, you should be able to put in a keyword, like “robot chicken” and then one video right after another would play. each video you could rate as thumbs up or thumbs down and the thing would get smarter and smarter, only streaming to you videos that you should like.

I got the idea while watching YouTube videos with friends. We’d watch one, and after the two minute clip was over, we’d have to get up and find another. You should be able to put in a keyword like “will ferrell,” sit back, go full-screen and enjoy. Not only would it stream Will Ferrell clips, but clips that are similar in humor style.

Not just comedy, but you should be able to search for “politics,” “obama speeches,” “car commercials” and so forth. The possibilities for this would be endless.

Seems like a great idea to me, at least.
